Heroes for Life campaign fundraising progress

Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago, which will open in 2012, is rising on the downtown medical campus that includes Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine, Northwestern Memorial Hospital and its new Prentice Women’s Hospital, and the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago.

The future of pediatric medicine in Chicago will reach new heights as construction of the 23-story, state-of-the-art Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago continues to make great strides. In order to build our new facility, Heroes for Life: Campaign for Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago is the most ambitious fundraising initiative on behalf of children and families in our hospital’s long and distinguished history.

Thanks to the generosity of many heroes in our community, more than $446.5 million has been raised toward our campaign goal of at least $600 million to create Lurie Children’s. While we’ve made tremendous progress, there is still a long way to go, and your campaign gift is critical.
