The Children’s Ball is the Medical Research Institute Council’s (MRIC) annual signature event. The MRIC’s year-long campaign of fundraising for pediatric medical research is celebrated at this black-tie event with a night of elegance featuring lavish hors d’oeuvres, dinner and dancing. This year marks the 60th anniversary of the founding of the MRIC. In recognition of this milestone, the Ball’s theme is Diamond: 60 Years of Brilliance! The Ball’s co-chairs are Beth M. Gross and Susan S. Pluss.
The 2011 Children’s Ball will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2011, at the Hilton Chicago.
