Elite Climbers

If you're among the fastest on two feet, you may be eligible to join the select Step Up for Kids Elite Climbers who receive priority start times. 20 spots in the much-coveted first hour of the climb will be assigned to the top 20 qualifying steppers. To be considered, you must have placed in the overall top 20 finishers, male or female, in one of the following Chicago stair climbs:

• Go Vertical! Chicago (Chicago, IL)
• Hustle Up the Hancock (Chicago, IL)
• Step Up for Kids (Chicago, IL)

To register for the Elite Climb, register as an individual for the climb and pay the $45 registration fee and $55 minimum fundraising commitment. Please note that the $55 fundraising commitment is due at the time of registration for all Elite Climbers. After registering for the event and prior to January 1, 2010, send an email to CRohrbach@childrensmemorial.org with the subject heading "Step Up for Kids Elite Climb Application." In the email, include your name, contact information, qualifying event, and overall finishing place in that event.

All applicants will be notified on or by January 25, 2010 as to whether they have been accepted into the Elite Climb. Please note that if you are not chosen for the Elite Climb, you will be assigned an individual start time.
